EXTREMADURA IS PRESENTED AS AN IDEAL DESTINATION FOR COMPANIES TO LOCATE THEIR DATA PROCESSING CENTERS (CPD).

The region has land availability, nearby energy production, access to highly qualified talent from the University of Extremadura and the possibility of attracting talent and connecting with very close technological poles (Madrid, Seville, Lisbon and Valladolid). Extremadura is one of the few locations in Southern Europe where, under the same administrative scope, it is possible to count on redundancy of electricity providers, the hydrographic basin (Tajo and Guadiana), the connection network, the electrical capacity of two reactors, nuclear power plants and the largest photovoltaic plants in Europe.

All this, in an region with great stability and institutional proximity, and that will maintain its priority status for the European Commission in the next budgetary framework 2021-2027.
