Extremadura is going to lead the fourth industrial revolution and proof of this is that the region will host the first gigafactory of lithium batteries to be built in Spain, the first diamond factory for semiconductors, the first factory of supercapacitor cells from lithium and the first Iberian energy storage center. This shows that Extremadura will be an industrial benchmark in Spain and the rest of the world in terms of renewable energies.
