Elysium City, the smart city that is projected in Castilblanco (Badajoz), is presented as the most important tourist macroproject in Extremadura and Spain, the first completely circular city project in Europe, located in Extremadura and designed by global architecture and design studio Gensler in partnership with the local developer Castilblanco Elysium Corporation.

It is the first leisure destination that respects the environment, a new tourism born after the pandemic and that seeks a harmonious development with nature. A carbon positive destination that will be a pioneer in the world.

It will have an investment of more than € 18,000 M, with an area of 12 million square meters, will mean the creation of 18,000 hotel beds, residential area, theme parks, piers and facilities for holding concerts. The impact of Elysium will also benefit the local economy and workforce of the region. Up to 56,000 direct jobs will be generated during the construction phase and indirect jobs will continue once the project has reached its operational phase.
