Yesterday, Thursday, April 4th, the Poland Business Conference was presented, where fifty companies from Extremadura met at the Chamber of Commerce of Cáceres to learn about the business opportunities offered by Poland.

Poland is a fundamental market not only for Spain but also in Extremadura, due to its economy and stable legislation. There are more than 550 companies with Spanish capital, providing more than 28,000 jobs.

In 2020, 77 companies from Extremadura exported to Poland. In 2023 there were 111, almost a 50% increase in 4 years. Tomatoes and tobacco are the most exported products.

In 2022, Poland was the eighth destination for Extremadura with an export volume of €56 million, representing almost 2% of the total. Extremadura's imports from Poland amounted to €137 million, representing a total of 6% of imports. The evolution for the following years is on the rise. In 2024, in the first month of the year, 4 million euros were exported to Poland.

From the Extremadura Govenment we want to bet on business opportunities in Poland and attract industrial projects. Through the Investment Attraction Service "Invest in Extremadura" we are obsessed with attracting foreign investment to Extremadura and we support channelling efforts in terms of attraction and support services for both national and foreign investors.
