The Talent4Iberia  Programme, part of the project  "Professional development of international talents in the fields of energy research in the Iberian Peninsula" has been selected by the European Union within the framework of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions-Co-funding of regional, national and international programmes (COFUND) grants, which aims to promote research excellence in the Iberian Peninsula. The Talent4Iberia Programme will recruit postdoctoral researchers of any nationality to carry out research and development activities in the field of energy storage in Extremadura. The programme has funding of €1,432,800 for 10 interdisciplinary and intersectoral fellowships with a duration of 36 months.

Talent4Iberia  will involve the Extremadura Science, Technology and Innovation Ecosystem (SECTI) in a special way, since the FUNDECYT-Science and Technology Park of Extremadura, the Iberian Center for Research in Energy Storage (Fundecyt-CIIAE), the University of Extremadura (UEX) and the Center for Scientific and Technological Research of Extremadura (CICYTEX) will participate in its execution, with the collaboration of 22 partners from 15 countries. partner countries.

Its international and interdisciplinary scope of execution will contribute to making Extremadura a focus for attracting foreign investment in the  priority line of research and development of energy storage in the specialization pattern of the RIS3 Extremadura 2027
