The Ministry of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation has launched the call for aid in favour of Extremaduran companies for the delivery of strategic training programmes (Decree 121/2021, of 20 October), for which a budget item of more than €5M is contemplated.

Strategic training is an instrument that establishes an ideal scenario for companies to develop and present business projects that describe the qualified and specialized training they need. The target audience is working people, whether they are unemployed or employed.

Almost 900,000 euros will be allocated to scholarships to cover living expenses, transport or accommodation, as well as the participation of people with disabilities or women victims of gender-based violence.

The project presented by the company must represent an important contribution to job creation and economic growth in the region, reflecting the forecasts for the generation of jobs or qualifications of existing ones.
