I International Forum on Electric Mobility in Extremadura

Extremadura leads the debate on the future of the electric vehicle with the celebration of the I International Forum on Electric Mobility organized by the Ministry of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation, through Invest In Extremadura of the General Secretariat of Economy, Business and Trade.

Chinese and European experts and professionals from the automotive industry and the electricity sector have met in Extremadura to reflect on the issues that mark the international order in this sector that bears the future.

Extremadura has the best conditions in photovoltaic solar energy, with more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year, almost 1,000 hectares of developed and available industrial land, the highest intensity of aid for large companies that a community has in the whole of Spain.

The Regional Government of Extremadura has opted for four strategic sectors: energy, technology, agro-industry and tourism. And within the energy sector there is also the electric vehicle chain.

Entre las entidades públicas y privadas chinas participantes, el foro ha contado con HRC, Skywell New Energy Vehicles Group, Rept Battero Energy, Fujian Super Power Energy, Ganfeng LiEnergy, DongguanShenHe New Energy Technology, YUTONG Bus, HUAWEI, Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (APECF) y China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

On the European side, the event included reflections by Emilio Froján, CEO of Velca; Jordi Aranega, Vice President of HRC; Juan Manuel Revuelta, CEO of Finnova; Eugenio Mallol, expert in Innovation; Javier Yraola, project director of Invest in Spain, ICEX and Iván Maura, director of business development at Acciona Mobility, among others. Businessmen from Extremadura related to the lithium value chain and the tech and energy sectors have also participated.
