The initiative presented by the company Envision AESC Spain S.L. for the construction of a lithium-ion battery factory in the region of Navalmoral de la Mata is already declared a Business Project of Regional Interest (PREMIA), thus being the fourth business project to receive this declaration that entails a simplification and reduction of administrative procedures,   the declaration of public utility and social interest, as well as the declaration of urgency for the occupation of the goods affected by the construction of the supply line.

The project includes an investment of more than € 1,000 M, with 1,500 workers expected at the end of the first phase. The three previous projects awarded with this qualification have been the construction of a synthetic diamond factory in Trujillo led by Diamond Foundry, a corrugated cardboard factory of Cartonajes Extremadura  in Navalmoral de la Mata and a water park in Casar de Cáceres.
