On 15 July, the new Badajoz Business Park was presented, which includes 13 new warehouses with 5,374 square metres in the Southwest European Logistics Platform and which are in the execution phase, equipped with all urban services and intermodal logistics connections, which will allow the immediate implementation of new projects.

The objective of this action, which includes the promotion, construction and marketing of the warehouses, is to promote the immediate location of the companies in Badajoz, benefiting their industrial and business development. The award criteria will take into account the type of activity to be carried out, the employment generated or the planned investment.

In addition, there are other logistics areas such as Expacio Navalmoral, with 425 hectares with more than 1.3 million square metres on 17 plots, or Expacio Mérida, with 207 hectares and 360,000 square metres on 11 plots. These two spaces, together with the logistics platform, offer access to the main European ports and railway nodes, thanks to the three intermodal rail terminals with which they connect.
