The central government, through an agreement of the Government Delegate Commission for Economic Affairs (CDGAE) and an order from the Ministry of Finance, has approved the granting of regional incentives for a total of 102 projects in 10 regional communities, six of them in Extremadura.

In the case of the six projects in the region, the amount reaches 30.7 million euros. Three of these projects will receive aid through a delegated commission and another three via ministerial order.

In the first case, the subsidies go to Diam Corchos, in San Vicente de Alcántara, with 8.05 million euros of aid for an investment that will exceed 47.35 million and generate 36 new jobs; Resilux Ibérica Packaging, in Higuera la Real, of 4.59 million euros for an investment of 21.86 million euros that will create 35 new jobs; and Cartonajes Extremadura, in Navalmoral de la Mata, €12.29 million for an investment of €49.18 million that will generate 50 jobs.

As for the concessions via ministerial order, there are Axije Izana, in Albuquerque, with 2.58 million in aid for an investment of 7.58 million that will generate 16 new jobs; Aluminios La Serena, in Villanueva de la Serena, with 1.18 million for an investment of 3.19 million that will create 12 new jobs; and Deutz Spain, in Zafra, with €2.05 million on an investment of €12.87 million and the creation of a job. These projects will create 150 new jobs and maintain 803 jobs.
