It is made up of seven photovoltaic plants and an electrical substation near the municipality of Solana de los Barros, which will allow an electricity generation of 660 gigawatt hours (GWh) per year, equivalent to the energy consumption of about 200,000 homes.

The work project will allow the hiring of some 700 workers and will serve, in addition to the promotion of green energy, to carry out a study of biodiversity and fertility of the land in which the University of Extremadura will collaborate. An economic and social investment that will generate wealth, jobs and strengthen the population of the rural world.
