Envision Spain has requested approximately 300 million euros for its lithium battery factory in Navalmoral de la Mata (Cáceres), applying for the second call of the Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation of the Electric and Connected Vehicle (PERTE VEC II). This aid will be divided into 200 million in direct aid and 100 million in the form of loans.

The call is open from 17 July until 15 September, and the total amount is 837 million euros.

In this way, Envision is paving the way towards his plan of a battery manufacturing ecosystem in the country, with a green hydrogen and electrolyser production plant in Castilla-La Mancha and another wind turbine plant in Castilla y León, making Spain its centre of activity in Europe.
